Christmas Swap Cards

Remember I told you I went out with friends on Tuesday night to craft and we had a card exchange. I've finally had a chance to post them.
The first card is mine. I used the Swiss Dots and the Winter Scene folder from Cuttlebug. The rooftop on the houses has Diamond stickles on top. Gives just a bit of glitz. I embossed Seasons Greeting in gold. The remainder of the card was ivory cardstock and gold paper/cardstock. The ovals were cut with the Nestabilities.

The card was done by Kim P. The card base is actually white cardstock but she used a tea dyed ink. Okay, I don't know the exact name of it but it gives a lovely vintage look to it. My point was the ink really changed the look of the cardstock. The pattern background paper is from Basic Grey's new Christmas line "Wassailing",the snowflakes are a cuttlebug die and those lovely branches under the ribbon are a "Marth Stewart" punch, I think. The card is very adorable.

It is Happy Friday & Happy Halloween so have a spooktacular evening!

You really can't see the first card well at all Yvonnne, and it's so GORGEOUS in real life! Can you maybe re-scan or re-photograph it so it shows up in all its glory on your blog? I just LOVED it!!
