The "Groom"

Finally the layout of the groom as promised. He looks so handsome...of course it is my son so I might be just a little biased. I was out with the bride and my daughter getting our hair done that I hardly have any pictures of my son getting ready.

These are groomsmen with Adam. Of course they ham it up for photos. They're all looking pretty good dressed up!

Pattern paper is from Stampin' UP. Cardstock is SU & Brazill. Lettering is with a Sizzix and the bush in the corner is done using the cricket cutter. The brads are Basic Grey.

Today we went for a drive down to Lunenburg. It was a warm day so had the roof down. When we left Lunenburg the GPS said 97 klms to home...after an hour of driving we were 102 klms from home. Should have listened to the GPS. We headed across country to Kentville...hmmm definitely not the shortcut.

I was also asked which cutter I bought....it was the 12" Tonic Tabletop Guillotine. I had thought about getting the 6" base one with the Guillotine blade but for the difference in price I went with the larger cause I cut a lot of 12 x 12 paper. So far I'm very pleased with it. It's also the cutter I've used at The Cutting Garden and have been pleased with the performance.

Speaking of "The Cutting Garden" Catherine (the owner) has announced the store will close the end of November. Another company is taking over the lease...not scrapbook related. If somebody is looking to buy her inventory and set up their own shop give her a call otherwise drop by and see what you need for your own personal stash.

A Halloween treat tomorrow!
