Elegant Edges Meets Blast Off

Good Morning!

Trusting everyone had a great week-end.

I did get a few projects completed in the last few days.

This card is a combination of Cricut, stamps & Copics.

First a little about the shape of the card. There is a new cartridge out there that is called Elegant Edges. Can be used with any of the regular cricut machine or used with the Imagine. It's creative features are Frame, Border, Oblong (No hole in centre), Oblong Frame( Hole in centre), Book, Shadow.

In order to make this card I have to use a Gypsy or Design Studio to weld the book shape to another rectangle so you can have a folded card.

The border, scalloped edge on side of card, and the scalloped circles are all from Elegant Edges using the same image for all the cuts. I recommend if you want to see more of this cartridge to pop over to http://www.cricut.com/ and click on information and then scroll down and look at the cartridge PDF that shows the booklet. It will give a detailed look at all the shapes on the cartridge. This would be a great cartridge for scrapbooking as well.

Where does the Blast Off cartridge come in? See the pattern paper...that is a pattern on the Blast Off cartridge. The best part about the Imagine is when you cut your shapes it sizes the pattern to your cut image so things are proportionate.

Stamp I used from Heartfelt Creations (HCPC 3359) for the Daffodil and the leaves were from Stampin' UP (Gods Beauty).

Copic colors used:
R17 - Lipstick Orange
YR16 - apricot
R46 - Strong Red
YR07 - Cadmium Orange
Y17 - Golden Yellow

All cardstock from Co-ordinations.

If you're looking for stamping and scrapbooking supplies be sure to check out FargoCat Shops. Deborah always has some good deals on the go.

I think tomorrow I'll have some Wall Decor to share.

Bye

Yvonne
