This card today is for my son, Adam. He turns 30 today...Gosh were has the time gone. I remember it all as if it was yesterday.
He was born on a Monday. We had spent Sunday at my brothers and most of the family was there. I remember riding a little 50 cc motorbike...my mother not happy that I was on it. lol 5:30 a.m. I wake up knowing today is the day. Letting Kevin sleep till 7:00 before I woke him. lol Adam was born at 9:45 that night. One of the BEST days of my life!
This card goes along the theme of his birthday present. I sent him a cordless drill. Guys can never have too many tools...sort of like craft supplies.
Background paper printed with Industrial Glow cartridge. The images are from Stampin' Up.
The metal background - used the same metal I used a few days ago on that Cheery Lynn Die but didn't use alcohol inks just the cuttlebug for the texture background. The drill on the inside of the cabinet embossing with silver. Tim Holtz Pumice Distress Ink on the green paper.
On the bottom of the door I printed Snap-on Tools. lol
I've been doing a little scrapbooking so will have that to share soon.
