MOJO Monday #138 - Gold Foil & Alcohol Inks

Good Afternoon...A little late in the day to be posting but...I was playing around with some new "stuff" and then decided I needed to turn the "stuff" into something. So I checked out Mojo Monday's Challenge and created this card.

Here's Mojo Monday #138 Sketch

Copic markers used :
RV29 - Crimson
RV34 - Dark Pink
G07 - Nile Green
G14 - Apple Green

I started out deciding I wanted to play with my Impressabilitie (Butterfly) from Spellbinders. I also have a roll of gold craft foil. Actually is gold on one side and silver on the other.  I embossed the foil with my Cuttlebug and then used alcohol inks to alter the color.
My main color was Wild Plum. I added some Lettuce but it didn't show up a lot. Finished it off with pearl mixative and some of the blending solution. The blending solution helps to lighten the wild plum color. Next was finding some cardstock that would match this vibrant color. I used a couple colors from Stampin' Up - Rich Razzleberry & Melon Mambo.

White brads & white embossing powder finish things off.

Check back in tomorrow I have a couple cards to share with you. Same card, same paper, two different looks. Interested.....see you tomorrow.
