A Cup Cake For You! - Bazzill Glazed Cardstock

Good  Morning,

Hope everyone in Canada are enjoying their Victoria Day Long Week-end.

It's not a long week-end here so I have a card to share with you.

Today the focus of the card is the background paper. The paper is Bazzill - Glazed Cardstock - White Cupcake 12 x 12. The cupcakes are gorgeous. Embossed in white on white. Click on the picture to get a closer look. It is hard to photograph it. The real beauty of this paper is you can distress it with different color inks and the cupcakes really pop off the page then because they are embossed the cupcake images resist the ink.

Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Spun Sugar was used to alter the background. It's such a nice girly color.  House Mouse - Make A Wish is the stamp.  Following is the list of Copic markers used on the image.

Cake  - Pale Pink (RV10), Tender Pink (RV13)
Mouse 1 Bareley Beige (E11), Brick Beige (E31), Sand (E33), inside ears Blush (R20)
Mouse 2 Bareley Beige (E11)(tail/face/feet/hands), Cool Gray 3 & 5
Candles* Frost Blue (B00), Robin's Egg Blue (B02),Flame Canary yellow (Y02), Yellowish Skin Pink (YR61)
Plate*Pale Green (000), Spectrum Green (G02)
Ground Cool Grey #3

Please note I have marked some with asterisk* - You do not need the second color listed just use the first color and apply a couple extra coats to where you want a darker shade or the shadow.

Nestabilities to cut out the layers and some ink distressing with spun sugar ont he edges. I just happened to have some pink buttons to match.

Short post today...I seem to have managed to get my self a nasty head cold. Actually DH was so kind as to share it with me.  In case anyone is wondering the temperatures are climbing here.

One last thing ...I did get another package in the mail today from Fargo Cat Shops. I have so many new things to play with and some of it I've never worked with so this is going to be so much fun.  Be sure to check out Deborah's on line shop as she has uploaded more product. Also once you bring up an item be sure to click on the drop down box to view more color choices!

Enjoy your holiday!

Yvonne
