Fall Splendor

Hi There,
Glad to be back again this week to share my Thanksgiving table decor.
I'm really enjoying these charger plates. They are so easy and quick to make.

The pumpkins, acorns, and leaves were printed using the printable vinyl and the cartridge is Enjoy the Seasons. Happy Thanksgiving from Lyrical Letters. The swirls I can't remember. Both the swirls and Happy Thanksgiving printed on yellow vinyl, adhesive applied over top and then glitter.

The leaves are from Designer Calendar and flood filled from Snapshot - Nature.

Also entering this project in the challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut.

Cheery Fall Day

Good Day!
Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday morning. Just a quick little card to share with you. I had made this particular card for my Goddaughter Jenna. She had sent me a picture of her in her new scrub top that she had purchased and the card reminds me of the top.. She's now in college so I did up a little care package for her.

Not traditional fall colors but I like it. I cut a circle out of the pattern paper so the blue cardstock would show through.

The project was printed and cut on the Imagine using Enjoy The Seasons.

My Imagine has fallen ill and had to be shipped away but should be back home when I return from vacation. I have really missed having it. I don't know how many times I've had to run to Michaels for cardstock to match a project. . . with the Imagine I just print the paper! If you're wondering if you get a long life time out of one cartridge of ink. I've had my machine since March. Craft with it almost daily and have only gone through two color ink refills and cost is $20.00 per cartridge. My white paper I buy is usually from Walmart - white textured - 40 sheets $5.00.

I'm down to three more sleeps till vacation and lots to do. Better get at it!

Tea Time

Good Morning!
I'm in a chipper mood this morning. Decided yesterday I would go to a card class today just to get out of the house.

Look, a Non-Christmas Card today. I'm entering this into a sketch challenge for the Cricut Circle on-line magazine. So that's where the sketch came from the tea idea is all about a new tea I discovered.
You see, I really like Chai Latte's. Oh Yum, oh calories!  While browsing my local grocery store, (I know you wish you had my life!) I saw some "Chai Spice Black Tea" so I thought I would give it a shot. Oh My Goodness. Tastes just like the real thing...I do add a little sugar and a tablespoon or so of  French Vanilla creamer. I highly recommend this!

Distressed with Tim Holtz Old Paper and Victorian Velvet.

Stamped in some steam.

Once I had the card done I thought I should make a holder for the tea packets as I'm sending this out as a little gift. I got the directions from Splitcoaststampers. The stamped images from Stampin' Up as well as the inks.

Just Because...I Love You

Hi Again,
I was following a sketch for this card but can't remember from where anymore. I've had it made for awhile! lol
I used the Imagine More cartridge for the paper and the two images. I love you is from the Jasmine cartridge and the swirls are stamped. The blue strip was embossed with swiss dots cuttlebug folder.

I found this card interesting cause I included lots of different colors and they all worked together.

Starting to see lots of ads for Black Friday sales. Last year I did most of my Christmas Shopping on-line that week-end. Sure beat fighting people in the malls.

Have a few Christmas cards I've been working on finished and still quite a few to go.

City Chase

Hello There Crafters,

Changing things up this week. We are to create a "Family Layout".

As you know here on Creativer Critterz Imaginations we're showing you all the nifty things you can do with your Cricut Imagine. Usually I show you how great it is to print your own paper and icons and then have your Cricut cut them out. This week I did things a little different. If you're like me you have a stockpile of cardstock and pattern paper waiting to be used so that is just what I did - I used my existing paper and only used the cut feature on the Imagine.

This past June my daughter and I competed in the City Chase. These events are held in numerous countries and then the top winner from each country competes internationally. I like to think of it as a mini "Amazing Race". We did things such as pulling cars, kayaking, walking on stilts and eating doggy biscuits. We had such a good time and completed our minimum requirements too!
It was a time I truly cherished with my DD and hope to compete with her again next year.

Birdhouses

Hi There,
I'm now into full swing on getting my Christmas cards done. Last count I only have fourteen done. I better get a move on as I'm taking a little vacation soon to go and see my grandson. Looking forward to that. We Skype with him occasionally and I had sent him a little package of goodies so he opens it on skype. It was one of those Halloween treat boxes that I showed last week. Once he got it opened he sees the treats and says, "Yummy".

Just a quick overview. All coloring with Copics.  The bird and the fence is from the new Cricut cartridge Ribbons and Rosettes. Fence cut at 1.5 " and the bird at 1". This cartridge does a lot of borders. I think it will be a favorite. Pattern paper from Hobby Lobby. Bought this last year and still using it on Christmas cards. When doing cards one piece goes a long ways.

Stickles added to the flower centers, red berries and snow. Distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Pumice Ink.

Entering this card in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge. Project had to be bird related.

Nightmare Before Christmas....

Good Morning, I just have to share these pictures. No paper project today.

My two favorite guys look so darn cute. DIL Steph made the costumes and she did an amazing job. Way to go Steph!

There will be some scrapbook pages coming soon. If you don't know they are dressed as Jack Skellington and Jack Jr. from the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Steph was Sally from the same movie but nobody took pictures of her! Maybe I can talk her into getting into her costume again for a picture.

We only had about 60 kids here and I bought for about double that.

Do you remember Trick or Treating? DH & I were talking about that. We remember we would go out by 4:30 in the afternoon to start. It got dark early was usually cold and a very good chance there was already snow on the ground.

When the big guy above was about Xavier's age we took him out for Halloween in a furry costume dressed as Oscar the Grouch. It was a cold, snowy night so put him in his snowsuit, then his furry costume overtop. We were so worried he was going to get cold. He ran from house to house and when we got back home the little guy was drenched in sweat! lol
