The sun is shining this morning...makes me so happy.
Here's a sympathy card using Silhouette Studio. I wrote the wording with a gel pen using the machine. I really like that feature. This is a card you could use for any occasion just by changing out
the sentiment.
Lots going on today...will share in a few days.
Enjoy

Is it spring yet? I've included some pictures of what our yard looked like yesterday morning....
In the meantime here is the card for today. This is referred to a Building Block Card. Directions can be found on Splitcoast Stampers. I did use the directions from Splitcoast and created a cut file for my Silhouette. If you would like a copy please leave a comment or e-mail me Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-86139486032012117572014-03-02T07:16:00.000-06:002014-03-02T07:16:35.398-06:00Tiki PartyGood Day!
I made this card for my neighbor. I was looking for something fun. The tiki head was an image I downloaded from the internet, traced and cut using the silhouette. The drink was a cricut cut form Life's a Beach cartridge.
The background I printed on my printer. I've learned to use a glossy cardstock and the print is much nicer. Life has been keeping me so busy. I made lots of Valentine projects but just didn't get them posted.
Today I'm going to share them all at once. All the projects were made with my Silhouette. I still have all of my cricut machines. Can't part with any of my toys...never know when I might need it.
I have projects that I have for my daughters wedding but can't share them until Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-10837484074024393292014-02-04T08:42:00.003-06:002014-02-04T08:55:39.499-06:00Valentine Subway ArtGood Day!
Well for a weather update...still rainy and cold. Yuck.
I did make it to the gym yesterday...aiming for a repeat performance today. The last six months I've been neglectful in exercising.
Today's share is what is termed subway art. I've been making lots of these to match each season or holiday. The word art file is from Silhouette Studio.
I go to the local craft store...whoever Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-45090451034593939442014-02-02T21:23:00.001-06:002014-02-02T21:23:15.370-06:00Countdown to Kisses!Hello!
Did you think I had fallen off the face of the earth. It has been forever since I blogged. I've thought about it many times but I couldn't seem to get around to uploading my pictures from my camera!
I am in the middle of helping my daughter plan her wedding for May/2014...it's coming soon.
I did spend a few days in New Brunswick in January visiting my Grandsons and their parents. I've had some questions about what I've been doing? Well there's been some wedding planning on the go. Kristen will be getting married next May in Orlando. Her and I took a trip there a couple of weeks ago and officially have a wedding venue and have rented a house for all of us. You have no idea how many houses there are to rent by the week. I was trying to pick something close to Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-66648175776851316702013-09-16T13:13:00.000-05:002013-09-16T13:13:57.905-05:00City Chase Part 1Hi There,
Well it's been a really long time since I blogged. Lots of stuff on the go and I've even had projects to post but just needed to edit them. That's the part I have trouble getting done. I want them to magically go from my camera disk to my blog.
So I finished scrapbooking this years City Chase. Lots of cricut cuts. The journaling tells the story. I made cricut cuts for some of Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-45801196550434089392013-08-09T11:54:00.002-05:002013-08-09T11:54:29.719-05:00Hello There!Hi
Crafters,
Just a quick stop to share this card I made at a Stampin' Up class last month. This lady does a lot of tone on tone but makes it pop by using dimensionals between the layers. So two layers of blue, dimensionals between.
Years ago I used to have a phone that looked just like that. Who remembers the days when you never owed your own phone you rented it. In the late 70's I rented oneYvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-18614565903561948912013-07-29T15:26:00.000-05:002013-07-29T15:26:41.893-05:00Butterfly ThemeHello There!
Here's my butterfly theme post for you. A friend is moving away to teach overseas and we had a little send off for her.
The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 folded. Butterfly image cut at 2.5" and then glittered. There are dimensions between the green background and the navy blue background. Pearls on the butterflies and the half fans at top of card.
Pattern paper cut using Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-82164534702425463132013-07-27T11:53:00.003-05:002013-07-27T11:53:46.596-05:00Yee-HawHI There,
Just another quick card using the stamp fro Heartfelt Creations. Yee-Haw cut from Old West cricut cartridge.
Playing along today on a challenge over at "The Outlawz" . The challenge is "anything goes" or Christmas. You must use some sort of alcohol marker for coloring. In this case I used my copics.
Don't miss tomorrow. I'm posting an entire butterfly theme. Gift bag, card, Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-11039823059171770382013-07-22T09:05:00.000-05:002013-07-22T09:05:00.797-05:00Baby BoyMorning,
I had a new Great Nephew born in May and I've been neglectful on my Auntie duties. In my defense I have had other things on my plate.
Regardless I finally sat down and whipped up this cute card. The image is from Nursery Tails Imagine cartridge. In order to make it into a card I used CCR and used two images of the same shape but flipped one of them and then welded them together. Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-6465206526450065292013-07-21T10:37:00.000-05:002013-07-21T10:37:06.865-05:00HowdyHowdy Partners!
The stamp is another Heartfelt Creation. I did not purchase the co-ordinating die.
Pattern paper from DCWV called "The Guy Stack". It has some great papers in it.
The "Howdy" cut from "Old West" cartridge at .75". I exchanged out the cutting blade for a cricut marker. The settings for using the marker are on the side of each pen in case you forget!
So....

I've been away for a few days again. Went to Memphis and yes I did make a stop at Graceland. I enjoyed Elvis's music but going to Graceland wasn't on my bucket list however, when I found the opportunity was there for the taking I decided I should really have a look. I enjoyed the tour that man really knew about bling!
This stamp is from Heartfelt Creations. I know...I'm wearing out this cartridge! Another project completed with Wild Card 2. All three cards I completed in one afternoon with that cartridge. Remember inking or chalking your cricut cuts adds more dimension to them. These were all inked.

Hi There Crafters,
Today's card is for a friend who recently graduated from culinary school and we had a party for her last night. Lots of good food to eat for sure!
I recently added a new cartridge to my collection. Wild Card 2. I really like this cartridge. It comes with a font, envelope, card, phrase and icon features.
The envelope and card were cut at 5" and the phrase cut at 1.25".Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-86912298361900817672013-06-28T07:24:00.000-05:002013-06-28T07:24:22.546-05:00Love You To DeathGood Morning,
Surprised to see me around. I've had a busy month and was kinda in a creative slump. When I did create something I mailed it off before I took a photo.
I did spend last week-end in Toronto with my DD competing in the City Chase. We had a great time, the events were physical but we completed the event with two minutes to spare. We finished around 248 out of 600 teams so I think we Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-28887457541764935002013-05-30T12:29:00.000-05:002013-05-30T12:29:03.121-05:00Jake and the Neverland Pirates BirthdayHi There,
I was recently visiting my grandson for his 4th birthday. Birthday theme was Pirates or more specifically "Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Mom did the decorating. Notice the multi colored cake. Steph food colored the batter. So cool.
The map and yellow pirate chest paper printed from Buccaneer cartridge. The images of the crab, mermaid, Happy Birthday and ship mast also cut from Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-85893680849694534172013-05-17T08:31:00.004-05:002013-05-17T08:31:59.233-05:00For My Great NieceGood Morning,
I made this little onsie card for my new niece almost two months ago now. I need to get it in the mail.
The sweet little babe arrived 7 weeks early but is doing very well. She is just gorgeous.
To make this I used standard instruction from the web for the onsie. It's basically a folded rectangle. Then you make the triangular cuts for the for the sides and armholes. The legs Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-18454976819978301542013-05-13T06:16:00.002-05:002013-05-13T06:16:44.688-05:00My Little Black DressMorning,
Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! I've been away for awhile. I was away for a little while visiting the Grandchildren. That was so much fun. Xavier celebrated his fourth birthday and I got to see Korben start crawling. I must admit I had a hand in that one. lol After I returned home I had a knee surgery but it is doing very well.
This is just a sweet little card made Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-31052245377471833602013-04-08T16:30:00.000-05:002013-04-08T16:30:00.652-05:00Birthday CakeGood Day!
Just a nice quick card today. Used Stampin' Up products. Looks like lots of layers but really small pieces of layers.
Something to keep in mind is rounding just a couple corners can really change the look of the card. Softens it a little and keeps them from seeming so symmetrical. Everybody knows I like symmetry. lol
Here's to a great start of the week and by the end of it I'll Yvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3037857014011589977.post-39744134606335233382013-04-06T09:56:00.000-05:002013-04-06T09:56:00.076-05:00Brotherly LoveHI There,
Another scrapbook page of my favorite topic. Grandsons.
The first
photo was taken just after Korben was born. It was so funny because Mom & Dad had told Xavier how important it was to hold his brothers head cause babies couldn't do it for themselves.

Yes, I do know Easter has come and gone but I forgot to share these cards. The card size is 4 x 4 and they are donated to the local Veterns Hospital to place on their food tray on Easter.
Coloring was done with copics. Some of the images are stamped but many of them I found clip art on the internet and resized and printed then colored. Duck and Easter basket were stamps. The lastYvonnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05664700196493738629noreply@blogger.com3
