Mojo Monday - 171

Good Morning,

I don't usually post on Sunday but I need to get this in for the Mojo Challenge.

Hope your New Years was great whether you stayed home or were out on the town. I participated in a Cricut Blog Hop yesterday and it was so much fun. I'd like to welcome all the new followers and hope you enjoy my blog! If you didn't see yesterday post check it out and you still have time to leave a comment on that post for blog candy.

This is the card sketch from Mojo Monday - 171.

My take on it.

I wanted to work with the Basic Grey "Curio" line. That's how I choose my Copic colors. The lace frame is a Spellbinders die. I love those lacey ones. I wonder what they have in store for their release at CHA in January. I'll definitely be at their booth. Deborah over at Fargo Cat Shops carrys these supplies. BTW I just popped in there and she has her new site up so be sure to bookmark the new address.

Back to business...

The label as shown below was cut using the Cricut Lite cartridge "Lacy Labels". Exclusive to Walmart. (Apparently Santa shops at Walmart too.) I've only tried to cut this one label but I was impressed and if they all work this good I'll be really impressed. I cut the design at 1.25" and it cut out beautifully. Even though it was very intricate it did a clean cut. I have some cartridges that just don't cut out the smaller images well. I will be sure to check a few other and report back. The words are a rub-on.
Off to enjoy my Sunday and I'll see you soon showcasing a very special book I made for Xavier!

Yvonne, this is simply beautiful! I love everything about it, and you can be sure that I will be looking for that cartridge at our local Wal-Marts! I have seen some lite cartridges but didn't notice this one, but will be taking a second look!
Thanks!
Sue

Yvonne: Beautiful, Beautiful! I really like the windowpane effect and that paper is gorgeous. I saw it "in person" at Deborah's store the other day. Might just have to buy some!
