Congratulations!

Hi There Crafters,

With the end of the school year wrapping up I'm sure you know of someone graduating. I thought I'd share this cute card.
The person is from Everyday Paper Dolls at 4".
All paper printed and cut with Imagine. Background paper - Contemporary Nature and Vintage for the diploma.
Congratulations is from Alphalicious. Using CCR I first flood filled a rectangle with grey then placed the words overtop. I only printed the image and then cut around the words after. I needed to do it this way as the lettering would have been too small to cut out properly. If you look closely you will see the lettering is actually two different colors as well.
Peachy Keen stamp for the face and all pieces on the image were inked.
Just heading out the door this morning on my way to The Great American Scrapbook Show. When I'm back I'll give you a full update.

Cut The Cake

Good Morning,

Hope all of you had a good week-end and if you were celebrating Memorial Day you had a long week-end.

I made this birthday card for Joel (Happy Birthday). All the images are cut with the Cricut Imagine.
The background paper is from Contemporary Nature. I quite like the patterns on that cartridge.
I'm heading up to Arlington this week to spend a couple days at the Great American Scrapbook show. Should be fun. I'll let you know what I find while I'm there!

Baby Boy

Hi There,
Long week-end coming up. Memorial Day. Haven't decided yet if we're  doing anything special.

I am planning on going to Arlington, Tx for the  big Scrapbooking convention next week. Should be fun.
This is the ultrasound pictures of our soon to be born grandson. So I have his first page done for his scrapbook album but I'm still searching for the perfect album. I've seen one tht I want but they never seem to have it in stock when I'm go there.
Paper was purchased from Michaels, hearts & stars are punches. The hands and feet are brads that I've had forever and have been itching to use. The lettering is from my sizzlets dies. I can't part with my old die cutting system. Sometimes the lettering from there is just the right size.
Will be back Monday with another card.

Spread Your Love

Hi There,

Well things are heating up here in Texas. We're already setting records for the warmest average temperature for the year. Makes you wonder what August will be like.

This was a very quick card. I already had the background paper printed and I think it came from the Blossom cartridge. I remembered I had a stamp that looked a lot like the flowers on the paper. I stamped that in Sahara Sand ink which is the same color as the cardstock.

The saying on the side of the stamp says, " Spread Your Love Everywhere You Go." -Mother Teresa

Ribbon punch for the border. Add some  flowers and pearls with a piece of pink ribbon and your card is complete.
Hope you enjoyed today's card and I'll try and get something up for tomorrow too.

Just Peachy

Good Morning,

A quick and easy card for today.

Imagine More cartridge for image and all paper. My inspiration for the design of the card came from MojoMonday. The sketch can be found HERE.

Extras I added to the card was using swiss dots cuttlebug folder on the background and a few flowers for filler.
Hope everyone has a great week-end and for some of you it's a looong week-end.
Enjoy!

At The Park

Morning All!

This week for my post on the Creative Critterz Imagines blog our theme is Designers Choice.

As many of you know my little Grandson has been down visiting so I took this opportunity to do a scrapbook page of him.

The pattern paper is from Cricut cartridge - Notebook Doodles. It is such a fun cartridge and can see myself using this one a lot.

Robotz cartridge - robot 3"
Ribbons & Rossettes - for the diamonds 2.1 & 1.5" - Inked and faux stitched around the layers and popped a dew drop into the centre of each
Let's Play - 3" - I doodled around the word play
Cricut Craftroom Basics cartridge for the journalling shape

Now I must try and get the co-ordinating page completed. Not sure how I'll keep up on the scrapbooking with two grandchildren!

Flowers

Good Morning,

I know it seems like forever since I've posted but I've had good reason. Xavier was here and I was busy with him. Simple as that. I had a wonderful time and have some great pictures to scrapbook. The highlight of his visit for him was probably enduring a trip to the mall but when we got there a firetruck showed up. The firemen were so nice they took Xavier and showed him the whole truck, let him sit inside the truck...he was thrilled. lol

With Mother's Day fast approaching I have a couple of cards that would be suitable for Mother's Day or any occasion.

There is an insert that fits into the plant pot. You could use it as a bookmark as well. Also there is enough room in the pot to insert a gift card or cash.

The first card was made using Cricut cartridge - Walk in My Garden and Imagine More for the pattern paper. To design the flower pot I welded two images together on CCR to form a card. Double-sided tape on the edges to hold it together.
The card below was completed using stickers. All supplies were from Stampin' UP. I placed the stickers on white cardstock and then cut them out.
The design came from Splitcoaststampers and if you click on the link it will show you how to make the flowerpot without using a cricut cut.
Wishing all you Mother's out there a very Happy Mother's Day. May you be appreciated not only on your special day but all year long.
