Morning All,
Back to Monday again. WOW! Where does the time go? I can't seem to get much posted these days. Sorry about that. Hopefully you're busy or on vacation too and you're not noticing.
Spent Friday & Saturday setting up and taking down stuff for a garage sale. The garage sale turned out not half bad but I prefer putting stuff on Kijiji.
Sunday we started out our day having coffee and then decided to go to Clam Harbour for the sand castle building competitions. Got almost all the way there and decided it was going to be too busy so turned the car around and headed down the shore towards Sherbrooke and then continued on to Antigonish and spent the after/evening with Pam & Bob. Always lots of fun but I think we ate for five hours straight. Arrived back home about 10:30.
The paper in this page is from Little Yellow Bicycle. I really like it and had bought it when Kristen had bought the little outfit for Xavier. I thought it would be a perfect fit. lol There's animal eyelets in each corner too. I had bought those years ago for a trip to the zoo.
The hat is so cute as it can roll up or hang down on the back.
Not hanging out too long today as I've got lots to do. I do have a new card to share with you and a little bit of a new technique, so stay tuned.

Anniversary Card
Good Morning,
Finally took pictures of a couple more projects to share with you.
The days seem to be flying by. Saturday we spent a little time downtown on the Halifax waterfront watching the Buskers. Sunday we decided to take a quick trip to PEI. Yes, it was to get in some Xavier time. We seem to manage to each get a turn feeding the little guy. lol
Monday was housecleaning, and boy did it need it. Followed that up with Tuesday and my DH spent the day with me as we were celebrating our 30 anniversary. I can't believe it's been that long. Went out for a lovely supper as well.
So that bring me to today's card that I made for my DH. You can see I used the Swiss Dots folder for part of the background. The oval Nestabilities for my image and I did pop the ovals up from the background. My image was colored in with Copics. A side note on coloring in with Copics - a local store (not The Cutting Garden) had recommended a certain brand of cardstock to use with the copic markers. I was using the correct ink however I had to be so careful so the ink wouldn't bleed out past the stamped image. I would get very frustrated some days when my image would get ruined towards the end of the coloring process. This card I used SU's Whisper White cardstock and had no problems with ink bleeding. I need to try more samples but I think I'll have like results. I did use a gold pen to outline the navy, white, and red cardstock. Added three little heart brads. Can't remember where I got those but have used them on quite a few things.
Well tomorrow will be a scrapbook page.

Autumn Days Sequel
Good Morning,
It's Friday and all. Can't believe it is the end of another week. A couple more weeks and my DD will be home for a visit. Looking forward to that.
I've posted two cards today. I'm using the same SU set as I did on two previous posts and I still haven't used all of the stamps that are in the set!
The cards are pretty self-expanatory. The leaf on the background was done with the versamark. Nestabilities used for the circles. What did we do before Nestabilities?
Ribbon with no bow and a button to keep it manly. Inks and paper are Really Rust and More Mustard by SU.
Similiar card as above. Background was done using tin foil and alcohol inks. You can't see it but I also Cuttlebugged the leaf folder on the background. More Mustard and the new Suede color from SU are the color components on this card. Sponged around the edges on the circle just to soften the ivory cardstock.
That's all I've got for today. My attention span that last few days has been non-existent. I can't seem to stay focused on one thing for more that 15 minutes. The only time that changes is when I go for my walk and I have to stay focused to get back home. lol
Hope you have a good week-end.

Chalks & Faux Stitching
Good Morning,
Little more organized or my posting today. Hope everyone has been enjoying our warmer weather. It is so nice.
This post is using the same stamp set as yesterday, "Autumn Days". The background was done with chalks, the Ruby Red backgroun was stamped with a versamark pad. Like the mesh look up in the corners. That started out as just going to be paper pierced and then I decided to had some stitching with a marker. Oooops, I stitched where I shouldn't have so that is how I ended up with more of a mesh look but it is different.
I used one of the label sets from the Nestabilities and a white gel pen to stitch around one of the layers. Chocolate Chip and More Mustard ink on the wheat and the pheasant. Pretty easy card.
That's my share for today. Not sure what my day is going to look like but I think I'll try and do a little stamping. I do need to still get a title on my scrapbook page.
Thanks for visiting!

Black & White
Good Afternoon,
Can't believe it's been almost a week since I posted. I have created some cards but hadn't taken pictures of them.
I've been using a new stamp set from Stampin Up called Autumn Days. I'll be showing a few different samples of this card over the next couple of days.
I decided to go with black & white and the only color on the card would be the stickles. The white squares are popped up from the black squares and the entire rectangle is popped up from the base of the card. The background is a large background stamp also from SU. The flowers are from the Dollar Store and the brads are from Making Memories with the ribbon also from SU.
This card can really be used for any occassion.
On a side note I'm trying to design a chipboard word book using the cricut and design studio. I fear it's not going quite as well as planned. If I ever get it figured out I will share it with you.
Enjoy your day.
